Несмотря на широкий спектр восприимчивых видов животных, сравнительная оценка чувствительности доступных лабораторных моделей остаётся недостаточно изученной.</p><p>В работе представлены результаты сравнительного исследования чувствительности различных видов лабораторных животных к вирусу оспы коров. Целью исследования явилось изучение восприимчивости лабораторных животных к вирусу оспы коров и определение наиболее подходящей экспериментальной модели для дальнейших исследований патогенеза инфекции.</p><p>В исследованиях использовали эпизоотический штамм «COWPOX-CAM» вируса оспы коров. Объектами исследования служили белые мыши, морские свинки и кролики, инфицированные внутрикожным способом. Проводили клиническое наблюдение за животными, оценивали развитие патологических изменений и характер течения инфекционного процесса.</p><p>У морских свинок инфекция протекала в лёгкой форме и сопровождалась ограниченными локальными изменениями. У белых мышей выраженность клинических проявлений зависела от возраста мышей и условий инфицирования. Наиболее выраженные клинические признаки зарегистрированы у кроликов, у которых развивались инфильтраты диаметром 26–32 мм, некротические поражения кожи, повышение температуры тела до 43,3 °С и системные проявления инфекции.</p><p>Полученные результаты свидетельствуют о том, что кролики характеризуются наибольшей чувствительностью к вирусу оспы коров и могут рассматриваться в качестве оптимальной экспериментальной модели для изучения патогенеза ортопоксвирусных инфекций и оценки эффективности лечебно-профилактических средств.</p></abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>вирус оспы коров</kwd><kwd>ортопоксвирусы</kwd><kwd>чувствительность животных</kwd><kwd>экспериментальная модель</kwd><kwd>патогенез инфекции</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">СПИСОК ИСПОЛЬЗОВАННЫХ ЛИТЕРАТУР</mixed-citation><mixed-citation xml:lang="en">REFERENCES</mixed-citation></citation-alternatives></ref><ref id="cit2"><label>2</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Bruneau R.C., et al.
