Проведена оценка его патогенности на 6-недельных СПФ-цыплятах, а также репродуктивной активности в развивающихся куриных эмбрионах. Показано, что вирус обладает высокой вирулентностью, вызывает 100% гибель заражённых эмбрионов в течение 48 часов и характеризуется максимальным значением интравенозного индекса патогенности (ИВИП = 3,6).
